About project
Currents New Media is an annual Art and Technology festival located in Santa Fe New Mexico. To promote the festival, Refract was commissioned to build five interactive AR sculptures around the Santa Fe Railyards.
Carefully crafted audio-reactive dreamscapes of wiggling bubbles and sparkles uniquely merged with each of the 5 locations' natural physical features. We used Snap’s Lens Studio to create and distribute the experience that could be activated from posters located around The Railyard.
