The Future of Cooking

Using Snap Spectacles, we built a prototype showing what it could be like to bake in your home with the aid of an augmented reality headset. We approached with the goal of reducing friction in the experience of cooking, without detracting from it. Placing recipes on walls instead of sticky phone screens, pairing timers with what they are timing, and keeping temperature information large and easily readable. The prototype has been widely covered by places such as XR Bootcamp, 80 Level, and the Spoon.
